Jody Bryant is in his fifth year of teaching band. He became the Assistant Band Director at Cullman High School in June of 2006. Mr. Bryant is a CHS Alumni (Class of 1997) and was active in all facets of the band program for over a decade as a student and an instructor. Before coming back to Cullman, Mr. Bryant was the head band director at Cordova High School in Cordova, AL. His most recent teaching position was Assistant Band Director / Director of Percussion Studies at Spain Park High School in Hoover, AL, where he was conductor of the concert band and the director of percussion for the entire program (6-12). Mr. Bryant holds a Bachelor of Music Education and a Masters of Arts in Education from the University of North Alabama. He was nominated for Who's Who Among American High School Teachers. His professional affiliations include MENC, ABA, PAS, and AEA. Mr. Bryant is married to Michele Maddux Bryant (CHS Alumni, Class of 1999) who is currently in her third year of pharmacy school at Samford University. He enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time with family.
