Tips for New Band Parents
- Frequently visit our band program's website www.cullmanband.com for information about our band and upcoming events.
- Join our mass e-mail list. You can do this by registering your e-mail address at the website. Access the high school, middle school, or beginning band pages and scroll to the bottom of the page to sign up for the appropriate e-mail list.
- Ask your child about weekly newsletters that are sent home with important information. The high school band notes are published every week during marching season.
- Read the High School band hand book and Middle School Band Course Syllabus/Rules and Policies. These are sent home and can also be accessed on the band website.
- E-mail or call the directors with any questions you may have about the band program.
- Volunteer for activities (Concession Stand workers, chaperones, etc.). It's a great way to meet people, have fun, and to get involved in your child's education.
- Attend band booster meetings. It's a great way to be informed and to get involved in the band program.
- Come to performances! You'll be amazed with what your child can do!!!
